Hotel les Chamois

During the Winter Season we run our sleeper coach to Morzine from various pick-up points between Scotch Corner and Dover. There is also a Manchester option.

We are now using a coach with Club Class Seats which have been custom made to provide more than enough leg room between you and the seat in front allowing you to stretch out and enjoy the journey. The seats have a 45 degree reclining mechanism with leeg and calf supports. All seats have seatbelts and there is also air-conditioning aboard.

Each passenger can take one suitcase (40 kilos max.), one ski bag, one boot bag, a small hand luggage bag and a sleeping bag for the journey. Non-smoking For the health and safety of our clients we operate a non smoking policy on our coach.

Normally you will arrive at the cable car station at 9.00 in the morning to be met by Mike. At this time Mike is handed the lift pass money and will then purchase your lift passes. This take around fifteen minutes which enables you to have a quick coffee at the Grangette restaurant. We then load luggage onto the cable car and will be met at the top by staff who will assist with baggage the next 50 yards to the hotel. Luggage is stored in our Annexe and you may get changed and be out skiing by 10.00. There is a cup of tea on arrival in the main chalet. You may also order a bacon or cheese sandwich on the coach journey. Ski fitting commences immediately on arrival.

All passengers must hold a valid passport. If you do not have a valid passport then you must make an application to your local passport office. You should note that at certain times in the year you could have to wait for up to four weeks or longer. Be certain to apply in good time. Foreign nationsl may require a Visa to enter some countries. If in doubt, please ask.

At the time of going to press no inoculations or vaccinations were necessary for people resident in the UK. Regulations do change. Please consult your doctor or travel agant before travelling.
